Baby Farm Tuesday 21st July 10-12pm

£0.00
Sold Out

A relaxed Tuesday morning session which are designed for babies and toddlers aged 0–2 years and will combine everything we love about nature-based play with gentle opportunities to learn about life on a real working farm.

Together we’ll explore the farm environment through sensory play, nature walks, songs, stories, movement activities and open-ended exploration. Little ones will have the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and textures of the countryside while learning about farm animals, food production, the changing seasons and the important role farms play in our everyday lives.

Farm is located at Broughton Beck.

Activities may include:

🐑 Meeting from afar and learning about farm animals

🚜 Exploring tractors and farming equipment from a safe distance

🌿 Nature walks and seasonal scavenger hunts

🌾 Farm-themed sensory trays and messy play

🎵 Songs, rhymes and movement inspired by life on the farm

📚 Farm stories and circle time activities

🪵 Natural loose parts play and den building

💦 Water, mud and sensory exploration opportunities

🥕 Learning where our food comes from

☀️ Plenty of time for free play, connection and outdoor adventure

While I will bring along some structured activities and invitations to play, these sessions will primarily focus on child-led exploration and community connection. As many of you know, I’ll also have my own daughters (aged 2 and 4) joining us, so the sessions will have a relaxed, informal and family-friendly feel.

📅 Planned Dates:

• Tuesday 21st July

Important Information:

🚗 Parking will be available on site

🚻 Portable toilet facilities will be available

👶 Parents and carers remain responsible for their children at all times

🐄 Please remember this is a working farm, so appropriate footwear and clothing are recommended, and children must remain supervised throughout the session

We are incredibly grateful to Alice & her Family for opening up her farm and sharing a little piece of farming life with our families.

If you’d like to follow along and receive updates then all details will be in this WhatsApp group.

This does not replace baby nature. I am hoping to run baby nature sessions at swarthmoor hall on a Wednesday, Thursday or a Friday in addition in the summer holidays but these will be charged to cover cost of hire and resources.

I can’t wait to enjoy fresh air, muddy boots, farm adventures and beautiful summer memories together.

Once booked I will email out the address. Please note this is not be automatic I will be doing it in my own time so won’t come right away.

Warmly,

Leanne & Alice x
