🌿 Baby Nature Session Disclaimer
Baby Nature sessions are relaxed, outdoor, parent-led experiences designed to support connection, exploration, and wellbeing in a natural environment.
By attending, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Parental Responsibility
You remain fully responsible for your child/children at all times during the session. This includes supervision during movement, play, and exploration of the outdoor space.
Outdoor Environment
Sessions take place outdoors and may include uneven ground, natural materials, mud, water, and seasonal elements. While every effort is made to create a safe and welcoming space, participation is at your own discretion and risk.
Weather Dependent
Sessions will only run when conditions are considered safe and comfortable. In the case of unsuitable weather (e.g. heavy rain or strong winds), sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Health & Wellbeing
Please ensure both you and your child are well enough to attend. If your baby or child is unwell, we kindly ask that you do not attend to support the wellbeing of the group.
Messy & Creative Play
Activities may involve paint, mud, and natural materials. While efforts are made to use baby-safe resources, some staining or mess is likely — please dress accordingly.
Physical Activity
Gentle baby yoga and movement are offered as part of the session. You are encouraged to move within your own comfort levels and follow your baby’s cues at all times.
Allergies & Sensitivities
Please inform the facilitator of any known allergies or sensitivities in advance. While care is taken, exposure to natural elements cannot be fully controlled.
Join us for a special evening session at Swarthmoor Hall from 6–9pm on 18th May with guest expert Bernice of Lakes & Dales Lactation Consultant
This practical, evidence-based workshop is designed to help you feel confident and well-prepared for your feeding journey. Together, we’ll explore:
How to get breastfeeding off to a positive start
What normal really looks like in the early days
How to recognise when things are going well
Practical ways to navigate common challenges
How birth partners can play an active, supportive role
Whether you’re feeling confident, unsure, or somewhere in between, this session offers grounded, realistic guidance in a calm and supportive setting.
✨ Only 2 standalone spaces available (this session is included within the full antenatal programme). Early booking is recommended to avoid missing out.
Beyond the Squeeze understanding your pelvic floor & core.
Karen Ellis is a former midwife, mum of two and postnatal recovery expert who is passionate about helping women feel confident and informed in their bodies during pregnancy and beyond.
Drawing on her clinical midwifery experience and her own lived experience of motherhood, Karen teaches pelvic floor and core health in a way that feels practical, down-to-earth and easy to understand. She believes women deserve more than vague advice or being told to “just do your pelvic floor squeezes” and instead focuses on helping you truly connect with your body, trust it and support it through pregnancy, birth and early recovery.
Her sessions are calm, supportive and empowering, leaving women feeling reassured, prepared and far more confident about what their bodies are capable of.
Session Overview:
Most women are told to “just do your pelvic floor squeezes” during pregnancy.
But no one really explains how to connect properly, how to relax it for birth, or how to protect it during pregnancy and in the early days after your baby arrives.
In this practical and empowering session, former midwife and postnatal recovery expert Karen Ellis will help you truly understand your pelvic floor, not just squeeze it.
You’ll learn how to:
• Connect properly with your pelvic floor and lower abdominal muscles so your whole core is supported
• Use that connection in everyday life during pregnancy, when you cough, lift, move or carry
• Lengthen and relax your pelvic floor so it can get out of the way during birth
• Use relaxation during pushing instead of fighting against your body
• Support your recovery confidently in the early postnatal days
This session is about understanding your body so you feel calmer, more prepared for birth, and more confident about recovery.
AND There is a workbook with QR codes, so you can go away with additional info.
You’ll leave knowing what to do, how to do it, and why it matters.
Because your pelvic floor deserves more than guesswork.
